TweetDeck
I still don't quite get why twitter is so popular. What happened to msn and irc? I tried some linux Twitter clients. Twitux and Gwibber. TweetDeck is in another league. It looks good, it uses Adobe AIR which I don't know a great deal about but I will certainly read up about it. You can organise tweets into groups and they are displayed in columns. I guess this is old news to anyone who uses twitter a lot or tweets a lot. The recommends column is useful for people like myself who are new to twitter. It has a nice spell checker which I really need. WordPress has one also.

Bing for a few weeks
I have been meaning to give bing a proper try since it was launched a few months ago. I have now set it as Firefox's default Home Page and won't change it for at least a week or two. I can't really say why I like using google so much. I just seem to be able to find what I'm looking for instantly with it. I could never use live comfortably either because it just didn't feel right. Hopefully I will know after I try bing. I have added bing to the firefox search bar so I'm not tempted to use google at all. To Google it or to bing it? That is the question. I will post a follow-up to this in a week or so!
